Bastet’s Once in a Blue Moon is out of Bastet’s B130, a Siamese Sable Buck and Bastet’s B139, a REW Doe. I believe B130 will be my Statler Entry this year. He’s a nice solid compact buck with a nice full Sr. mane. B139 is a massive doe with bone to burn! She has an excellent rollback coat and as we all know, it’s not easy to get that on a REW. She’s a bigger doe but very nicely balanced and she stays nice and clean! She’s an excellent mom just now coming off another litter.
As many of you know, I have not been actively been showing the Lionheads due to concentrating on my COD. I also skipped showing at Nationals last year due to Fuzzy Lop Nationals being the same day. With that said, I don’t have wins to list like many but I can assure you that I am very pleased with the current direction of my breeding program. Even with just showing for sale stock at Convention this past fall, I was able to pull off a BOV and two BOSVs. I will be showing again this year at Nationals but then will be tucking them all away again until Convention to concentrate on my breeding program.
