Quite honestly, this doe was my keeper but I wanted to have the best to send to the club and since her momma just gave me four more the other day I decided that she was the one! It was destined to be!!! (I thought her momma had missed but gave her the box anyways and wow! four babies!!). Her coloring is nice and clean, every generation of oranges has been such an improvement and I am so happy to get this line to do this without any hybridizing! Wyndfire has an amazing topline. She starts right at the back of the head and is a natural poser. Nice wide hips, this girl is going to finish out a high posing full bodied gal. This doe is a wonderful combination of so many breeders from all over the entire US showing a great consistancy in build, type, mane, and temperment. |
| She comes from parents that both have held excellent mane into seniorhood. The photos taken are of the parents and they are both a couple years old each! Wyndburn was shown several times and has won BOB every time. He even place BOB at 10 weeks of age at his very first show! Both parents have amazing shoulders and well filled hind quarters. Both parents have the nice wide flank break even though they do both carry hip wool. Wyndburn's show career ended after a tusle that led to his nose injury:( But boy can he produce awesome babies! Sienna came to me from McElfin's rabbitry up in Maine. She carries a REW gene so there is a chance that Wyndfire carries a REW gene in recessive. I have never gotten dilute from her so far and neither from Wyndburn. Wyndfire's momma gives me litters of 4-6 babies every time. Her mom is an easy breeder and a superb momma! She is a sweet doe to handle. Wyndburn thinks he is a regular Don Juan and loves everyone. It broke my heart when he lost the tip of his nose and couldn't be shown or he would be here at Nationals as well! |
