| Breeders Quote: Ophelia is an extremely promising young doe. She is beautifully balanced in her length, depth, and width of body. She's very compact with a nice topline. She has excellent bone, shoulder, loin, and hindquarter. She has a nice representation of correct Tort color, not too dark nor too red. Her rollback coat is coming in very nicely over the saddle, but has not yet cleared her side breaks. She has very good shape and length of head and nice length, shape, and substance of ear. She has excellent length, density, and texture of mane. |
Ophelia is the result of crossing PrideLands Hamlet to PrideLands Lady's Secret (our 2010 Presentation Black Senior Buck and Tort Senior Doe). Both had very nice placings at the 2010 ARBA Convention Show. Hamlet was the 1st place Black Sr Buck and BOSV Black. Lady's Secret was the 2nd place Tort Sr Doe. Both of these rabbits produced extremely well for us in our 2010 litters. We felt they would compliment each other's strengths nicely, so we crossed them in hopes their offspring would be stamped with these strengths. Cheryl and I were extremely happy with this entire litter and would like to offer Ophelia to the NALRC auction. If not selected for the auction, she will likely remain here in our own breeding program. |
