Breeders Quote:
Very nicely developing little girl, she has a large amount of mane that circles the head evenly on all side. Tiny ears, clean face and nice wide head with good large eyes. She has good body, evenly wide from shoulders to rump, and very upright and posy attitude.  Her saddle is already clean, and she is showing good break. We will be showing her this weekend and next weekend to get judge comments on her, and update her show history as she is shown.

This is a repeat breeding, the first litter from this cross were all very nice individuals who won several BOB/BOS wins.  Her sire is Beary Sweet Smirnoff, who won many BOB's in both open and youth showing, across TX and OK, he was shown at the nationals in 2009 where he took a 2nd in the National show and BOSV in the Sunday Specialty show.  We had sold "Smurf" and got him back when they went out of business last year.  Smurf is sired by Lapiniere Alphonse. Al took a 3rd at Nationals in '08, 2nd in Nationals in '09, and placed 12 in the Statler class in 08.  Al has many wins including a res. BIS win, and has sired many winners for us.  His sire is Cimmaron Valiant, and dam is Lapinere Ma Cherrie.
Smurf is out of Beary Sweet Whiskey, she won several top awards in showing before we retired her. She was sired by DJ's Lionheart-a Firebear son owned by Michelle Herman.  Her dam is our doe Bash River Southern Comfort-dam of many top winners including National BOSV Beary Sweet Peaches.

On her dam's side, Beary Sweet Cocoa is sired by Bastet's Hambone, 3rd place winner in the Statler class in 2008, and sire of many top show rabbits including National winners.  Cocoa has never been shown, but has a huge sr. mane, clean rollback and face, and clean natural break.  The cross of Hambone onto Comfy has produced so many winners we decided to try him on her daughter Whiskey to see what would happen--unfortunatly, Cocoa was the only survivor in the litter, and we lost Whiskey shortly after, so could never repeat it.  Hambone is sired by Bastet's Oliver, and out of Bastet's Lumiya.
