| Breeders Quote: I almost named this doe “What a Shame” because if she wasn’t a Siamese Sable, she’d be staying right here in my own herd. Just a shame that she’s not one of my COD colors because this is exactly the type I’m looking for to present this fall. Glory is a stunning young junior doe. She’s super correct in her body type and very compact. She has an excellent balance of length, width and depth to her body with a full loin and excellent hindquarter. Her bone has nice length and excellent density for her compact size. She has a wonderful length, texture and density of mane for her age and is starting to clear her saddle nicely. Side breaks are coming. She has a classic PrideLands head with nice length, shape, and thickness to her ears which are cleaning up nicely. |
Glory’s dam is PrideLands Alysheba. Aly is one of my favorite black senior does. She’s very correct in body type and has maintained a nice senior mane through several litters. Her sire is the 2008 Statler winning buck, Mossypossum Johnny Blaze, and her dam is PrideLands Secret, who was a long time black herd doe here at PrideLands who went back to some of our original Blue lines including PrideLands Blue Chip and Arii. I have my eye on a couple other Alysheba kits for possible inclusion in my presentation this fall. She’s just a consistant doe that throws consistently nice litters. Glory’s sire is a young Blue buck, PrideLands Blue Spartan. Spartan was BOV Blue at the 2009 ARBA Convention Show in San Diego. This was my first litter out of him and I’m sure liking what I’m seeing. Spartan’s sire is PrideLands Bourbon, one of our current Black herd bucks who goes back to Setzke’s Blues Clues Too and PrideLands Whiskey Girl. Whiskey is the dam of the 2009 BOV REW, PrideLands Disaronno. Spartan’s dam is Mountain’s Shellan, a lovely Blue doe that we purchased from Melissa Kelly last year at Nationals. |
